Mariners improve to franchise record of 7-2

 

 

After a game delay due to weather, the Tri-City Bulldogs fall to the Mariners 39-0 at Walsh Field.

Quarterback Nathan Elliot completed six of nine passes for 101 yards and a touchdown to Bob Reindl. Al Clarke had two amazing catches for 42 yards. Marjahone Twitty rushed for 115 on 8 carries.

On the defense linebacker AJ Hamilton led the team with 7 tackles. Defensive linemen Joe Flores and Rich Zachow each had a sack. Defensive back Jake Hall took an interception 52 yards for a touchdown. The Mariners improve to 7-2. Mariners are at home again on October 12, 2013 against the Dodge County Braves.

If the Mariners are Victorious against the Braves, the Mariners will win the WSFL Central Division and head into the 2013 WSFL playoffs with a first round bye, and a full head of steam.
