The Mariners came away with a victory to even their record to 2-2 on Saturday against the Kettle Morraine Titans. Defensive back Jacob Walesh intercepted a Titans pass and returned it 65 yards for a touchdown. Also scoring for the defense was linebacker Shane Brunner who scooped up a fumble and rumbled and stumbled for the Mariners touchdown. Richard Zachow continued his relentless attack on opposing quarterbacks by recording his fourth sack this season.
Offensively, the Mariners were led by All-purpose player Al Clarke. Clarke had four catches for 28 yards and a score along with a 15 yard touchdown run. Not one to be left behind, Tyler wolf ran in a errant extra point hold in for a 2-point conversion and added a 15 yard touchdown pass to Nathaniel Muckerheide.
The Mariners hit the the road this Saturday and face the Bulldogs at Warner Park in Madison. Kick-Off is set for 6 pm.

The 2013 WSFL regular season will kickoff on Saturday July 20th. The full league schedule will be available by May 1st. The 10 game WSFL regular season will run from July 20- October 12.
The top 5 teams will make the playoffs. The 3 division winners will get a first round bye, while the next 2 best records in the league, regardless of division (4 & 5 seed), will play in a wild card game on October 19/20 that will be hosted by the higher seeded team. The league semi-finals are October 26/27 (#1 seed will host winner of 4/5 and the #2 seed will host the #3 seed). The league championship will be held on Saturday, November 2 (site and time TBD).
